The spring term will be different to the usual 10-week term as I will be travelling in New Zealand from mid-Feb so there'll only be 4 sessions.
We will cover a range of topics, which will be outlined in detail during the first session. This may include the essential elements of fiction writing and other creative writing forms. You will be given regular writing assignments and receive feedback.
Working in a supportive, encouraging environment you will give and receive feedback on each others’ work and receive regular feedback and guidance from the tutor. The focus will always be on making your creative piece as impactful as it can be, regardless of form or subject matter. Where appropriate you will be given advice about the process of submitting work to competitions and for publication, or progression to further courses.
Please bring a notebook and pen pen and notebook or laptop, if you prefer.
